Nothing has been debunked. The only thing that's fact at this time is GB sword is black in color. We know blackened haki can be added to a sword temporarily turning it black in color.
Zoro is proof a character doesn't need to hold a sword or weapon to add haki to it. Since we only saw the end of GB battle against the beast pirates we don't know if he used his sword earlier and placed it on his hip after he restrained King and pierced Queen with his vines.
"We don't know":
No sword cuts on any of the BP or in the nearby terrain;
Aramaki wasn't even keeping the sword in hand;
He used his powers to deal with the BP, as we saw.

Even if Aramaki does get confirmed to have a black blade, some people will then bring up the question on whether or not he actually forged it or if he just took it from someone else.
If it does get confirmed that his sword is a black blade then I think he forged it himself, I don't think it should be that surprising that someone like an Admiral could forge a black blade if he wanted to.
Someone will indeed try to cope to the extreme, but I saw more than one user who, logically, is convinced that if his sword is a BB, then it would be obvious that he forged it.
