Excuse? I don't give excuses. IDF has had a horrible record with journalist, specially in the west bank. You won't see me defend shit like.
Unlike you I don't have a "team" that drives me to hope for world wars. This has never been Arab vs Jews. Hamas literally massacre a bunch of Bedouin, did they betray your team?
what does hamas have to do with this, hamas is the supposed terrorist group, they don’t claim only killing soldiers, israel is a state and the idf claims its only targeting militants when they clearly have no problem killing anyone
this is good news and make very good sense strategically
- it saves the dehydrated citizen from dying of thrist
- it incentivizes them to get out of the warzone and move south, thus less civilian casualties when the ground entry starts (which by the way will start WAY more than 24 hours that were warned in the beginning
I have found another Telegram that shows actual gore, with videos with sound that are real
besides having the ben shapiro dog meme in there, the rest looks real and confirms people were burned in their houses, people decapitated, etc etc.
If anyone's interested (I don't recommend this) DM me
I've seen some other people commenting on the aftermath on Reddit about what will happen with Gaza
Israel won't annex it
Maybe it can come under the Palestinian government in the west bank under Abu Mazen, with their own police governing themselves plus a way stronger and active border around that.
That's probably the most realistic scenario that hurts the citizen the least and keeps them free from terrorist rule

I just got this message from someone in my masjid and came to post it too.
I was also gonna say videos? Fuck no. I certainly don't want to see gore. I tried to ignore this conflict like I ignore all the things I can't affect, but knowing so many innocent people are being hurt bothered me to the point where I had to find out more, as I didn't stop thinking about it. And now it's close to home. Americans are a special kind of nuts and the fact that we shouldn't even be involved doesn't stop us from doing dumb shit as a response. I hope everyone stays safe.
I think I figured it out, why Israel does so many shitty things.
It's the Eren Yeager mentality.
I've noticed, even within my own community, that there exists this sentiment of jewish cynicism. The idea that everyone either hates jews or are indifferent to the lives of jewish people. That nobody cares about us or our lives and hence the only people we can rely on for our own freedom and security is ourselves.
"I don't think muslims will ever truly accept us" - a friend of mine
No doubt this mentality was created through centuries of European antisemitism. From expulsions to ghettoization and pogroms. Ultimately culminating in the Holocaust, the genocide of 6 million European jews.
"Everyone is our enemy, therefore we need to do whatever it takes to free our people, even if that means acting exactly like our enemy"
It's becoming the titan to fight the titans.
I think the walls in this scene are an allegory for power and oppression.
being trapped within the walls = oppressed peoples
seeing beyond the walls = becoming the oppressor
The reason why Eren conflates this with freedom is that when you are at the top, there is nobody above you who can take away your freedom.
And I feel like that is the nationalist version of freedom. It is the zionist version of freedom.
If you've ever listened to the israeli national anthem, it talks about the 2000 year long hope of the jewish people to be a free people in their own land.
But what does it mean to be free? According to the zionists, it means to create a jewish ethnostate. But why does that have to be freedom? Why can we only be free when we are in a land where we are the only ones with power? Can people not also be free sharing a land with others, who while different, share the same common goals and basic moral principles as we do?
And that's where the cynicism comes in. The zionists were so used to being treated awfully in Europe that they no longer trusted that they could be free in a land where they were the minority. Hence, rather than try to integrate into arab Palestine, they adopted plans and schemes to build their own state in the area, while displacing the palestinians.
They bought land from absentee landlords, and subsequently kicked out all of the arab tenants in that land(This would be considered a violation of civil rights in America and probably elsewhere). That's basically what happened in that viral clip of Yakov the israeli settler
They also used terrorism to make palestinians flee their lands, ultimately leading to them either being kicked out of the land altogether, or ghettoized in the West bank/gaza. And that's absolutely ironic, because ghettoization and expulsions were the very thing that europe did to jews for centuries.
To end the attack on titan comparison, its basically hurting others in the same way you were hurt

As to what can be done about this? I have no fucking clue. I feel like its on the onus of the western countries, all of whom support Israel for their own geopolitical reasons, to hold Israel accountable for its shitty actions. I think that's the only way things will ever change. Yet even that seems so far away, as at least in America, the government has become more and more right wing in a way that mirrors Israel's own government.
At the very least, if/when I have kids, I'll teach them not to blindly support Israel. I'll teach them about the real history of what happened, rather than the sanitized narrative that is common in American education. I think that's the least any of us can really do.
I'm not sure about that anymore. I feel like Zionism has just prolonged jewish trauma by creating a scenario where the muslim world despises jews due to Israel, and the state is perpetually at war with the palestinians. Young kids turn 18 and they are required to go join the IDF because you never know when there'll be another terrorist attack or invasion of israel.
It creates a perpetual cycle of violence and trauma.
The worst religious aspect is A and B fighting when C jumps in to say "hey God gave them this land 2000 years ago, I seen it!" Insane.
I wish so desperately that it would steer away from this religious thing, but it's hard when any opinion to the contrary can get slandered as antisemitic. Yet all of us here at least shed one tear in learning about the Holocaust in school. Pretty much no one wants to be that way, and even when they do they'll typically STFU so they don't get destroyed publicly.
... And like, you can't even complain about that consequence because that's antisemitic too, even if we all know it and in some cases can argue it's warranted.

JVP is literally a jewish org created by jews for jews to advocate against Zionism.
But the propaganda is so effective at identifying Israel and the jewish people as one and the same that people think you cannot criticize one without criticizing the other. Facts: Israel didn't exist before the 1940s.
