Honestly, the whole occupation argument makes my blood run cold when I think of the great population displacement that is happening in many Western countries, as well as my own. I've seen many people have their families uprooted as the entire community was funnelled Islamic/Muslim refugees and migrants who then abused and berated them out of their homes, raped their daughters (Rotherham scandal) and made them feel unsafe in their own communities. I find it to be a form of neo-colonialism, but nobody seems to care because they're Islamic.
Yet, all I hear all day is "white colonialism" which is a thing of the fucking past being parroted as the root-cause of the suffering of Muslims in Palestine... The double-standard is... very noticable. And yet, everyone has the PERFECT argument. You're a racist, blah blah.
Thing is, it's not skin colour I care about. It's, in my case, British values and culture. Many of these immigrants do not embrace British culture. In fact, they despise it. You can be black, brown, Asian, white, Hispanic, I don't really care about that. It's about being British by culture and identity. Yet, saying this, people will just call the concerns of every day people in my country as the words of racists. I don't think so... it's neo-colonialism, enabled by global elite and encouraged by intersectionalists.
