I’m still a virgin, but I wouldn’t call myself an incel. Just never actively tried to be in a relationship.

Like there were one or two women who I liked back in high school and college that I asked out, but I never went on dating apps or go to parties with the intention of meeting women to date.

For you to be an incel it's gotta be involuntary. You shouldn't take your isolated case as a statistical pattern. Most of these men are involuntary celibates.

Then you have the devoutly religious, who often choose not to have sex before marriage.

Then you have others like myself who are virgins, but only because they didn’t pursue sex.
