I swear, Oda is telling us something with this. With the fact that Weevil and Stussy exist the way they do, I truly think Rocks, Shiki, Kaido, BM, John, Silver Axe, and Ochoku have been cloned.

This event, while important, does absolutely nothing for the present story, UNLESS Rocks (in the least) is alive or cloned. We now know they simply went there for Devil Fruits and rewards from the CD hunting game.

God Valley's true significance lies with this crew (or their clones) coming back around again and being significant. Hell, maybe these clones, like Stussy, are working for the WG (i.e. Shiryu was right about the Burned Man)

I think it is Rocks plan
He met Vegapunk and told him to clone his crew so that they can infiltrate WG and also stop pirates from becoming PK, until his plans are set

I think he's also the one who influenced the old hag to invite Kaido into Wano and he's the one who influenced Teach, he met him before he joined WB

Xenec will be the madara of this manga

I think we take "young" designs on many characters for granted. Remember that this is nearly 40 years ago.

Imo, Garling looks far more menacing as an older man than younger. As does Kaido, Big Mom, Kong, Garp, etc.
