Integral part of his growing as fish food. It will already be quite obnoxious to swallow Kidd come back in Elbaf and, I hope for him, a change of character to stay relevant at least for that arc, but Oda will not suddenly start to invest like crazy in Kidd stocks and elevate him again as one of the racers for the OP. Law has some hopes of that (and Law is maybe even more annoying than Kidd since he is around since freaking Punk hazard arc).

I don't see any real rivalry between Kidd and Beckman to be honest, imo Kidd taking out Beckman would already be above his best case scenario regarding an hypothetical payback to Shanks. At this point Kidd should just learn his lesson, it is the 2nd time Shanks or his crew wreck him, and leave Shanks alone and try something smaller that he can handle.

Nobody cares about Kidd's arm, not even Kidd and indeed he didn't show (so Oda didn't show/hint) any rivalry or sentiment of revenge towards Ben. The whole stuff about his arm was mainly to give him a mechanical arm (to fit better Kidd mecha/punk theme) and partially to show he shouldn't have messed with Shanks (that got underlined again when Shanks one shotted him). Also the Red hair pirates have for sure already left Elbaf, Luffy is not gonna meet Shanks there.
