Distorted Future sends you into an alternate timeline version of yourself. We see this when Luffy is sent to his bad timeline when Bonney uses her powers on him.

So, in this case, Bonney is turning herself into a Bonney that WAS Kuma and Ginny's birthchild and had Kuma's Buccaneer blood. That's how I'm interpreting it, we'll see what happens next chapter.

I once had this personal headcanon that someone intended to clone the Rocks crew.
Stussy is clear.
Weevil is Whitebeards clone.
Bonney could be Linlins.
I was even pondering if Yamato was Kaidous clone.

Just Stussy being a perfected one.

Dude this conversation isnt even about who Luffy is fighting. Its about who's saving Bonney in the next 5 seconds while Luffy is trapped and unconscious on the floor.

My Egghead predictions

- Kuma flashback ends
- Luffy is still knocked out
- Saturn gives the SHs trouble
- Kuma appears to save them
- Kizaru wakes up and fights alongside Saturn
- Luffy wakes up
- Goes Gear 5 and fights Saturn
- Bonney hears the Drums of Liberation
- Rest of the crew fight Kizaru
- Luffy beats Saturn
- Kizaru and rest of the Marines are stalled by Kuma
- Straw Hats escape with Vegapunk and Bonney
- Bonney is the 10th Nakama

If it's an alternate future, how does she apply things that were never true of her?

Do you realize how insane that sounds?

that basically means she could just turn like say Zoro into an older woman version of himself because here's a timeline where zoro was born a girl

Nah, shit was just delayed on multiple ends this week. Hopefully next week is back too normal.

I think Oda's really struggling to push 3 chapters a month out, now, and he barely got this one in, hence why it's only 13 pages. Was probably going to be longer, IMO, but got reduced to deal with the crunch.
