In Sabaody she was lucky she didn't meet Kizaru nor Sentomaru nor Pacifista.
Teach defeated her and asked her to be his woman, luckily Akainu came to stop the pedo.
Later during timeskip she didn't really gain anything unlike other Supernovas who grew stronger.
Then she was eaten by sea monster luckily she got saved by Straw Hats.

Prodigy is someone like Lucci.
He entered timeskip already defeated by Luffy (thus pre TS Luffy > Lucci), he spend timeskip without any mentor Rayleigh / Mihawk / Ivan.
Yet the result he left fresh post TS Luffy in the dust with his awakening and advanced haki. Luffy was lucky he only encountered the beast in Egghead. 1 arc before he would get eaten alive.
