This will likely be the last time I respond to you on this issue. Not only am I ill recently (which has resulted in lessened patience), but I also am easily baited on this topic.

First of all. I am not the exception. If you look into the gender wage gap theory, you'll see that it does not account for hours worked and when they worked (so unsocial hours, so to speak). Furthermore, women are more likely to be paid more than their male counterpart immediately out of college for the same job with same qualifications due to affirmative actions.

As for your comment on patriarchy - no. Men kill themselves more because they are not afforded any of the social protections that women are. When looking at this sociologically, a term you enjoy, you'd likely understand the concept of "inherent worth". Women are protected and cared for more due to their ability to produce offspring and the fact that, over the course of our species, women have been protected. This has impacted us on a deep biological level.

Throw into that the feminist movement which demonises anything atypically masculine (unless it is done by women, see: girlboss movement) and considers it abusive, it is no wonder that men's self-esteem is at it's lowest in centuries. Then, let's add more onto it: The lack of charities to help mens mental health, the stigmatisation - by women - of male weakness meaning they cannot rely on their spouse or female family members for support in times of extreme duress (see the concept of "giving me the ick."). Men are held to expectations these days to be strong, stoic and responsible as they always have been, but without the respect that was afforded to them in the past. This has made men miserable as it's a zero-sum game for them.

The fact you can call this "patriarchy" is ridiculous. We live in a society where, despite the common narrative, your average heterosexual white man sits at the bottom of the social hierarchy due to intersectionality bleeding into every facet of society.

As for your comments regarding "expecting you to stay quiet." No. I don't. But at the same time, you say some of the most batshit insane stuff and people only respond to it because YOU attack them with it. I have my opinions that were formed by having a transgender identity for 8 years. For fully embracing the female role for 8 years. For fitting into society and being happy as one for 8 years. I know this stuff, and I know that's so hard for an armchair psychologist like you to understand.

You have accused me of undergoing a toxic process (likely detransition) which is demonising my decisions - so yes, you covertly do tell people how to act.
