Current Events “The Admirals are Celestial Dragon Dogs!”-Say Fans of Garp and Roger

It's agenda wars stuff.
They don't hype Garp because he made Kuzan look bad or somn like that.
Kind of childish but yknow how people are here
Which is crazy to me, logically you'd hype up Garp an active Marine to scale the current marine top tiers. Instead of hyping up Teach's underling to scale the current marine top tiers.

Doing the latter is only counter-productive and the illogical route to take.

It's the same as Swordfans bashing Vista, while trying to hype up Mihawk and co. Doesn't make any sense is just setting up for illogical and terrible arguments to be made.

Unless Garp is head of SWORD he had no good reason not to jump over to the revolutionaries once Luffy became a big player (sans Dragon actually being a fraud). Even prior to that theres little chance he left God Valley without knowing what happened there.

Did he know about goofys special df
:choppawhat:

Sadly the others couldn't leave the place and so there was no 1v1 between kuzan and garp
Yea I also don't understand how anyone thinks it was a Kuzan vs Garp 1on1.

When one scene ends with Garp leaving Kuzan behind on the ground and going straight to middle of the island at Pizzaro. Which then cuts to an entire crew behind around Garp. And the automatic assumption is "Kuzan beat him 1on1"... i'm like huhh????

Kuzan would have to catch up to Garp and tell the other YCs to stop fighting, which wouldn't make any sense due to who the other YCs are and there's a clear location change. And since the entire purpose of Garp doing that was to keep all of them busy and not just Kuzan. So Garp wouldn't allow it to be a 1on1 fight.

Why has Mihawk not joined the RA?
Why has Borsalino not joined the RA?
Why has SMoker not joined the RA?
Why has Koby not joined the RA?
Why didn't Jinbei join the RA?
Why didn't Newgate and WBPs join the RA?
Why hasn't Shanks teamed up with the RA?

Certainly none of these "good guy" characters agree with the CD right? Yet none of them have yet to take stand against them and simply do "good things" to the best of their capabilities.

Garp has lived the Marine life since he was a youngin, he's an idol to many marine youngins and people throughout the world. He's bled alongside Sengoku/Tsuru. His son then forms the RA. He's meant to leave his current organization where he himself is doing plenty good, to become his son's underling and become WG's enemy #1? It'd be counter-productive to say the least. When all he has to do is keep being a Marine until his son sets up what he wants and can show the world there is a chance to go against the CD.

We have 0 idea on Garp's PoV on the RA, but since the two keep in touch, it'd imply he's clearly fine with what Dragon is doing to say the least. Just like he was feeling proud for all the shit Luffy did with Ennis Lobby and such.

Apparently the smartass you’re quoting has literally dedicated his life to hating Marine fans for some reason lol
No one is downplaying Garp in a powerlevel sense, only relatively to the Admirals (including Sengoku)
You know how it is with the “childish“ fandom

Kuzan literally fights like Garp, so downplaying Garp automatically downplays Kuzan, no one is that dumb even if they wanted to act like ome

About the thread, the GV incident is hella sus
How are you protecting all these guys on a manhunt when you’re supposed to be the dude who refused an Admiral rank to avoid dealing with Mariejois. That raises a shit ton of questions and makes Garp look like a pretty shitty written character lol
Oda has some explaining to do, better be good

Anyway, its funny seeing the double standards of the Admiral hating group come into play. As sweaty as it can get 😂

He was pretty upset when he talked with kuzan about it

None of the above insisted that their sons/grand-sons/adoptive sons to join the marine because ''we are the good guys and pirates are scum''
And none are proud to stay at a lower position because ''I don't want to be an underling to the CDs''
The way Garp is written is bad and contradictory, his words simply don't match his actions and that's what annoys people.
A couple examples :
- Garp stayed put when Ace was on the execution platform but then gets angry at Akainu for doing his job ?
- Garp knows what the CDs have been doing for years but only goes after pirates ? Against his own Grandson who he knows won't hurt the innocent ? Why protect the genocidal WG but gets angry when a pirate crew ransacks a village of 20 people ?
