I've been reading One Piece since around 1013, as in reading the current story, but I probably started watching it when it was around 950-960, bounties don't measure strength but I believe that they were given as an indication of the intentions of Oda's narative, Luffy fights Kizaru, Law fights BlackBeard, Kidd fights Shanks, those are all fights on the same tier, and on a higher level than fighting Lucci or a commander, that just what the narative is, I don't even like Kidd or Law but people downplay them a lot.

Hold up, do you think Shanks can do to Luffy, who has future sight and the Nika fruit that can resurrect him from death and his CoC can allow him to talk while unconscious… do you think that Luffy with all the above can get One shotted by Shanks? And to make it worse, if Zoro jumped in front of Luffy the way killer did in front of Kid, Zoro too who blocked two Yonko would just get immediately wiped out by Shanks in one move that also wipes out Luffy as well?
You’ve told me when to got caught up to reading the manga, okay… When did you start actually discussing the manga like online with people (not in person with your casual friends)… Because Online the discussions around bounties and power levels has been done a long time ago with WAY TOO MUCH evidence suggesting bounties are very rarely purely about power levels
Blackbeard and 3 commanders wiped out the entire Law crew… There is no world you can convince me or anyone in this forum than Teach and 3 men can beat the strawhats… Luffy is leaps and bounds, tiers upon tiers of power stronger than Law and kid… Luffy himself can 1v2 Law and Kid together AND BEAT THEM TOGETHER

Yeah Shanks one shots Luffy because Shanks is a swordsman and swords have way higher AP than punches do, but because most swordsmen one shot each other in their fights Shanks also has far lower health than Luffy does since he can't train his health against a swordsman without getting severely injured or killed, and Luffy wouldn't allow him to get a free hit, it's a matter of who hits who first in my opinion.
I started watching things about it online around 1013, that was a very fun time and probably only the BlackBeard arc and final war will match it.
BlackBeard loses to Luffy definetly but I think that's because it is harder to deal with Luffy's Gear 5 than it is to deal with Law's hax. Also because BlackBeard has no mobility.
