Sou'Ou is the obvious candidate, but who's to say Hara will leave it at just one? Some might find it cheap and/or cliche, but I can see Kitari dying just as Heki is set free - like an inverse of Sei Kyou and Rui (who Sei should've pressed Shin into marrying to advance his faction, thereby incidentally making Shin the Lord of Tonryuu, but I digress).

I was thinking/hoping it would be curtains for Fu Tei during the last war, courtesy of Kan Ki himself.

He has been around for like 500 chapters. In that time he has risen to the rank of general and become one of Ri Boku's most trusted swords. I think he has served sufficient purpose that his death would be fittingly part of the bloodiest battle in Qin's unification wars - I think it makes sense Ri Boku suffers this loss, at the hand of Shin preferably.

The trap is luring Shin away to make Ou Sen vulnerable.

Many of us thought it would be an ambush designed to kill him, but Ri Boku has just stated Shin has reached a level where he would commit the entire army to eliminating him if he were the Commander in Chief.

It's lowkey the biggest hype statement in the series so far for anyone not named Hou Ken, I think.

Ri Boku knew he had Shi Ba Shou and still found it so important to get Shin out of the way. He invoked Shin slaying Hou Ken because he knows the same could happen to SBS.

Exactly. Some people might disagree but I think SBS right now is the best asset that RBK has and he will be very hard to counter for Ousen. And I think Shin is the only one who could have isolated him for a 1v1 and win that 1v1 in a war of that importance. Pretty sure his weight would make the diff against someone like SBS.

Some people will whine incessantly about Zhao spawning soldiers and generals, and then complain there's not enough of it because they didn't do A to prevent B or have X do Y to Z.

Ou Hon is an extremely dangerous individual, but it's an entire battlefield littered with dangerous individuals, and some are more dangerous or troublesome under one set of circumstances versus another.

In a battle like this, there's an argument for Ou Hon not making it to the Top 5 of priorities. Ou Sen, Yo Tan Wa and Shin take up 3 spots. A Kou is likely ahead of Ou Hon on account of what he means to the Ou Sen Army. Others like Kyou Kai and Ba Jio are essentially subcommanders and have more freedom than Ou Hon, who has more responsibility in his role and thus can't move around as freely.

In terms of ability, it's no question where Ou Hon belongs, but in terms of problems Ri Boku needs to prioritise solving, he's a bit lower due to specific circumstances of this battle.

At some point, hopefully much sooner than later, Shin and Ka Ryo Ten will have to return to the fight.

I'm hoping Kyou Kai will plunge the Zhao Left Wing into chaos by descending on En Kan's HQ and taking him out early, but if that doesn't happen, I'd like to see her to relieve Ou Hon from command so he can rush to the centre.

Right now, I don't see the 20K moving until Ou Hon is already on his way back or sends a rider ahead.

If she leaves, I see her becoming a special unit under Ou Hon devoted to his protection.

I think she and Ou Hon will get a long very well and it would be nice to see Ou Hon have a bond with someone devoted to him without the bullshit he usually has to navigate, like Ban You being obsequious, Kan Jou's second guessing, and A Ka Kin's occasional insubordinate disregard the boundaries to his remit. Shi Ryou would present a refreshing dynamic. Something closer to what Ou Sen has with his vassals.

Yeah I like that a lot.

Shin and Mouten both got powerful martial subordinates recently in Aisen and Kyourei. Ouhon should get one as well.

Kanjou, Akakin and Shiryou being Prime Ouhon's subordinate generals is fitting. Kanjou as the by the books kind of guy, Akkakin as a wild card, and Shiryou as a martial powerhouse

yep heki doesn't know who rbk gonna use it for etc .
..
so it must be at the city hika or something.

kitari and ytw gonna fall for it.
this will make them busy from helping the center where ousen is.

it seems rbk want ousen to be limbless at the moment when sbs strike .

also at same time i can see enkan moving all his army at once to make ohon bring the reserved 20k so ousen is left alone.




let's see how ousen react 😏

Let's say Moubu secretly left his posts to his RHM and joined Ousen undercover with a 100 of his elite warriors and shows up to slap SBS back to Seika
