I've been saying this since Wano Arc
Vegapunk Arc will Introduce a Villain who completely Destroys Luffy (Literally exactly like Mihawk vs Zoro in Baratie)

Oda called him Lurking Legend before & now He teased this "Person vs Person" Fight Two Years in a Row
Not to mention the Teasing of Egghead Incident, it's clear He can't wait to Draw Luffy vs his Endgame Rival

Egghead Arc will End with Capture of Luffy (After this New Villain Defeats him), Kizaru is gonna take him to Mary Geoise
This is why Arc started with Luffy suggesting Idea of going to Mary Geoise, it's Oda's way of telling us that Luffy is Ready for such Change/War

Narrator Announces Defeat of Kid
He then Announces Defeat of Law
Luffy's Turn is Coming Soon

When this Character gets Introduced depends on how long Egghead Arc is, but my Current Estimation is that He is Introduced Chapter 1111

God I fucking hate Netflix. As a company. As an adapter. The worst part of Live Action is that it gaslit the anime community into thinking Netflix adaptions aren't cheap poorly made cash grabs. Now people are pretending the crappy Yu Yu Hakusho Netflix series is peak. They're looking forward to live action Avatar, even though the show's original creators backed out of that project because Netflix kept meddling in their vision. And now they're going to milk One Piece until it's dry with an anime remake...

Glad to see Miss Kobayashi from Dragon Maid make it to One Piece. Also surprised to see Aya Hirano slowly getting more roles recently after getting shunned from the public eye in Japan

Aight, I’m really starting to think that even Oda himself doesn’t know what he’s talking about in these yearly missives…like, he knows he can say “the battle between THAT character and THAT character when Luffy goes to THAT place” and the fandom will (incorrectly) fill in the blanks because each instance of “THAT” can refer to a variety of people, places, and other plot points he’s tossed into the mix over the decades; he doesn’t actually have to envision anything specific, he’ll get there sooner or later in the creative process and we’ll accept the supposed “fact” that he had it all mapped out from the jump. Been writing this fucking story for close to 30 years and he still has to play coy, fuckin’ embarrassing…
