Kuma flashback is top 5 flashback in the series builds up the lore, gives background information on Kuma's situation, reveals Bonneys true power and age, how the revolutionary army came to be, how Kuma knew Luffy was son of Dragon

What aspects in your opinion has made this a good flashback?

I'm emotionally invested in kuma as a character and I think the flashback has done a great job at providing further context to the current events in egghead island. I understand why people think it's overstayed its welcome (these last couple of chapters have been a little slow) but so far this arc hasn't disappointed. I care for Kuma and Bonney way more than the scabbards or even oden.

Aye flashback has started to drag but I wouldn't call it boring tbh

Gave us a very interesting look into Kuma which enhances what we already knew about him

It's the kind of flashback that legit makes rereading older one piece chapters better

Tbf this arc's Scabbards aren't Kuma and Bonney, they're the Vegapunk satellites, and I gotta say both are almost equally dog shit, only advantage the Scabbards have are Neko and Inu having better designs.
