expected that Oda will start present timeline in the new year...hence he overstretched flashback for no reason...what is there to cover for 14 pages this chapter?...oh yeah just recap of the past events...I thought only anime will do that stuff and now Oda introduced that trend in manga too....:lusalty:

I dont think the flashback did a good job of bringing any emotion to the story... at least the Oden one did and was interesting (also was way too long, but more interesting)

it is not boring...it is indeed emotional but Oda overstretched beyond for no reason and last three chapters can be clubbed into one and half chapter...he stretched only to have new year start with current timeline....atleast could have given some important stuff in the flashback but nahh...
