As for how he seemingly is headed for egghead despite not having a mind I imagine it’s because of his soul. Like how other inanimate objects like ships, devil fruits, weapons, etc can somehow have a will of their own
Idk how but I do still think it’d be fitting for at least the Nikyu fruit to join the crew somehow with it carrying kuma’s will. We also know that while some inanimate have their own will they can still carry on the will of previous users like with merry and enma

As for Bonney while she might not ever be able to sail island to island with her father like she wanted but at least she has his memories…
If she joins the crew as an apprentice maybe she kinda can if the nikyu theory comes true
