kuma head shows vegapunk formet his brain/memory since kuma body is modified by past 500+year tech because of vega punk. so can see vegapunk fix him on elbaf, when they escape with him. plus franky saw vega punk work back in older lab.

how would you know? we have confirmation bonney was on MG where kuma looks confused at seeing conney, before he hit on the head.

later his body goes into panic/instinct father mode


searching for something, meaning bonney. akainu even remembers bonney words of her father never abandon her. oda not showing kuma run in pointless circles (his body moving on it own/not listening remind as other pointed out similar to cindry)

There are no plotholes left, Kuma saving the SHs in Sabaody makes 100% sense now and it wasn't because Kuma knew that Luffy was Nika, it was because Kuma put his faith on Luffy at the last minute, which is even more beautiful
