Jenbe and Jesus are both helmsman. Jenbe's strenght and speed for his size have been highlighted mutiple times but the underling theme has always been his discipline and technique. It clashes nice against Jesus's Wildman highly telegraphed style. Plus he can lift and trow mountains. Somebody has to be very strong to fight Jesus and Jenbe's the third of the crew. At the same time the fight would be to easy for Sanji with his devastating attack speed. Jesus has the same durability as before his fruit and we seen he has little to no resistance to fire. Jenebe is the only one on the crew strong enough to fight Jesus other than Sanji and Zoro.
Franky always fights somebody mentally astute. He's a weird party man and his opponents quickly see he's quite capable and strategic. Being also a worldclass inventor he often fights seasoned strong and mentally focused fighters. He has to because he has shit like lasers that's GG if he's fighting an idiot. Vasco is also despicableand a brutal criminal. Which is a stark contrast to Franky who was also a criminal who was seen as despicable but was quite respectable taking the criminals of water 7 and making them into wild yet working class. He took mozu and kiwi off the bottle, seeing as he though ladies drinking in the streets as not acceptable. Again a stark contrast to Vasco who suggested molesting or raping Boa. And of course the most obvious parallel is while Franky drinks Cola and uses it to power his body and attacks, Vasco drinks alcohol and now has an alcohol based devil fruit. I mean what else do you need there.
Nami will fight the female of the crew as she allways has.in every major arc she's either fought a female or not had a 1v1 fight. Alabsta, enis Lobby, wano and whole cake island. She's even befriended women who have tried to kill her even if they have a good enough nature. As in with Lola and chiffon.
Brooke and Lafitte is obvious in my opinion. Both are fiercely loyal to their captains that form the basis of their personalities. Laffitte threatening to kill crewmates that would challenge Blackbeard and Brooke defending the honor of his crewmate Sanji by saying how selfless he was. Explaining to big mom that she had not conquered Luffy's crew by persuading Sanji only that she was Lucky that Sanji's loyalty to his friends would cause him to sacrifice himself to protect them. Both have demon otherworldly powers Brook Brooke seemingly using the freezing winds of hell in his attack and being a skeleton once worshipped as a demon and Laffite being called the demon sherriff..
Lafitte was a policeman and Brooke was the captain of a battle convoy. So both probably worked under kings before joining the pirate world. Both have top hats, both are the skinniest of their respective crew, they dress similarly have canes etc. Seems obvious. Both can manipulate consciousness.
