Well see how it ends, but it doesn’t seem useless as her willingness to create the mother flame seems to be the biggest reason the world government actually came to egghead.

I wouldn't say perfect (having widely spaced breaks between everything killed some of the suspense and darama as things moved along slower due to that.)

But in terms of narration, had you taken out the breaks, and had it go at normal pace it was wonderful!

Stellar year for OP. Egghead’s cutaways like Kidd vs Shanks, Law vs BB, Kuzan vs Garp storyline all were really great. Details about Gorosei, Lily, Sabo’s adventure in Mariejoa were excellent as well. Luffy vs Kizaru was okay not too great but we got the much needed matchup. Kuma’s flashback is the highlight of the year for me. One of the best flashbacks in OP. OP is back to its best after poor Wano.

Spoiler: My Personal opinion

I didn't like what Oda did to Kidd, yes we all knew Kidd was going to lose but a negg diff one-shott? wtf. Law vs BB was okay cool but Bepo sulong>. I liked Reverie because maybe it's the first time that Wolrd Government is developed.Hashinosu was hype and made me respect Koby. Luffy vs Kizaru was disappointing, Zoro vs Lucci just didn't make any sense. Saturn was by far the biggest surprise in the manga this year, seriously I didn't expect Oda to go so far with the Gorosei. God Valley beginning was cool but showed little. Kuma flashback was good, I just think I would have liked this flashback more if Egghead wasn't as hyped as he is.

I just didn't like that much of Holy Knights introduction but Garling was cool.

Yeah the holy knight intro was meh. Garlings intro killing Mjosgard was hardcore but the others were not even there.

Maybe they’ll be better next year
