Nonviolent protesters were shot by police
Are you for real ? They tried to break into the office ! Which lead to a agent shooting a woman.

policemen were all completely fine except for the ones who had heart attacks from drug abuse or the ones who killed themselves afterwards because they were complicit in something messed up.

Stop listening to far right propaganda

Offices aren't human beings
This is not the question. Breaking in into official gov office is one of the sign of insurection. Its not only about human beings.

The only people that day whose lives were in danger were the protesters being shot and killed, beat up and abused, and arrested for exercising their constitutional rights.
Again, no. Those who risked the most were those who were targeted by the mob in the first place, the representatives.

You are leaning dangerously into far right rethoric here, careful. This was not the exercise of a constitutional right here, this was a planned insurrection lead by Trump.

just common sense compare this to the widespread violent riots in every major city
Violent city riot of BLM don't attack the capitol. They target urban furniture. Its a perfectly legitimate way to express anger contrary to a COUP.

Oh I’m Switzerland in all things politics, especially here. I prefer to watch

People were shot, Policemen were injured, furniture and windows were broken, offices were saccaged and robbed, members had to hide for their lives. You may have found video of protesters being peaceful, but there are more of protesters being violent. Don't fall into the trap of the far right.
riot=/=insurrection

The Swiss were very happy (and later intimidated) to work with the National Socialist German Workers Party. I’m just saying I’m neutral on Internet forums when it comes to discussing politics.

Id rather rage about power scaling then get into the weeds about this stuff
