Jjk will be remembered more than op
When they animate gojo vs sukuna to its over
Shonen jump have been trying to find a rival to OP ever since naruto's end and have failed ever since.

Toriko, nanatsu no taizai, boku no hero and now JJK, OP will NEVER be toppled.

JJK will be remembered for a few nice fights a d thats about it.

The reason for it? LACK OF ORIGINALITY.

That goes for most mangas though, not just One Piece. I dont think any modern shonen had a fight with similar levels of engagement/memes online as Gojo vs Sukuna did. That fight had tension and the back-and-forth between the fighters was great.

On a sidenote, dont expect "great fights" from One Piece. Oda is currently incapable of giving any fight proper time and conclusion due to how late he is on finishing the manga.

No.

One Piece is popular because of mysteries/lore, sob stories and world-building. One Piece has many faults but people keep coming back because they want to know what the One Piece is or what the void century is. In the meantime, every arc is an new place to explore (world-building) with heart-pulling sob stories and this keeps people engaged. OP shows that the best way to get a "popular" story is to focus on mystery, sob stories and world-building rather than plot twists or battles over anything else.

Still, one piece is ORIGINAL, no one even dared to copy OP due to knowing how hard it is.

Jjk is a copycat show who steals whole arcs from naruto, bleach and HxH.

OP isn't original. Oda copied the story structure of Esteban, Child of the Sun.
I agree that JJK is a copycat show and that's why I don't watch it but it's expected that every 5-10 years you'll see a new copycat show that becomes the new big battle shonen because this genre is popular.

-Nobody cares what One Piece is.

-One Piece is popular because it has many characters and most of them are of the same level.

-What unites me to One Piece is the fight for the title Zoro vs MIhawk

Yes..........Fight oriented manga would usually trumps over one piece when comparing fights.
FULL STOP

But outside of that mid piece trumps over it sadly...........You're underestimating op popularity and it's legacy.
It's too popular that it's stupid, cringey and annoying at the same time. Shit needs to end now before Oda and Shonen Jump official started milking again..........Glad there's some shonen show has made its name from barely 5 years ago and we talking about already surpassing one piece that was 20 yrs older
Let's hope it has rich material and story to tell so it can go on for another 15 years strong.......

True, but other shows do their own thing or at least try too.

Boku no hero and JJK are disgusting due to how unoriginal they are.

Chainsaw man is my favorite from current gen btw.

I like CSM too and I like OPM but they're for an older demographic compared to MHA and JJK. One issue with "shonen" is that this demographic is too broad. CSM is borderline or arguably a seinen while MHA is borderline Kodomomuke and JJK is in between. The innovation in MHA is about what you'd expect from a kids show while JJK is lacking compared to its predecessors (naruto, bleach, saint seiya) but with that said OP was somewhat innovative when it came out but it hasn't been innovative in ~20 years.

I don't think OP has a legacy. Lore driven stories like OP tend to fall off a cliff after the author reveals the big mystery.
