When we have Garp (or Tsuru, if you consider that Garp was only a VA by his own wish) and Maynard as vice admirals, we naturally know that their strength can vary drastically. I particularly wanted to see other strong VAs besides the past current admirals or Aokiji and Garp... Marineford Arc and the need of a draft to fill up 2 admiral vacancies kinda was the start of their reputation as fodders.

Fights are:

Luffy vs saturn.

Zoro KoH extreme diff non conqueror awakened lucci.

Sanji won't do shit against top tiers so he is probably going to carry bonney on his arms or something.

As for the rest: runpiece and reactionpiece.

Outside of the admirals there are 7 other zodiac there being other marines capable of competing with admirals candidates isn’t bad at all.

The marines not sending out forces to attack the emperors before cause even if we say only the zodiacs can be commander level + that’s still 11 characters. At least 4 of which are actual top tiers and 7 that should at least be commander level. That’s not even including Garp, sengoku, tsuru, and the warlord at the time
The marines and world government have always been stacked even more so post timeskip.

Also zoro and sanji still have shiryu and laffitte(?), beckman and roux, mihawk and crocodile, etc
There being strong vice admirals doesn’t hurt zoro and sanji or make them look bad

Those Zodiacs is pure headcanon. Each time is less likely that these Vice Admirals can be stronger than Yc1+. Till date no Vice Admiral has received such hype.

Zoro and Sanji already proved themselves against commanders, if some VAs manage to give them a fight it simply means high tiers elite VA are a thing. Which makes sense as the rank just before admirals.
For some reason people seem persuaded all VAs (over 30 of them introduced already) are around the same level, which is disproven by Garp, Tsuru, Kuzan being considered a monster as a VA (and likely the other C3s as well) already.

it’s like I judged Marco and Jozu strength based on Curiel lmao.
Narratively it makes much more sense for the VAs sent to Egghead to be decently strong than neg diff material. Would Kizaru/Saturn only have brought Maynard level shitters with them to face an emperor crew? At least Kizaru, seems to take their threat seriously considering he called for reinforcement (like Doll) when he learned their presence.

They werent sent to deal with a Yonko Crew, they were sent to kill Vegapunk while fighting Pacifistas, Seraphims and sea monsters. Luffy just happened to be there.

VA isn't a level(we had a VA no diff another VA) so it wouldn't matter from a powerscaling point of view. They go from pre skip Luffy lvl to top top tier.
That being said I don't really see the point. VA fighting one of the SHs just let's us know their powerlevel and a bit more about their personality as they get defeated and become irrelevant. Seems like a waste of panels at this point imo

Zoro fought despesperately for six months to stall the bum Luffy low diffed. Sanji fought Kizaru alongside Luffy.
