In terms of role in the world they're nothing alike, but both Saturn and Xebec are extremely evil and, likely connected to the Void Century/overarching lore in their own ways.

Obviously Teach is this gen's Xebec, just spit balling some ideas

That won't happen. Kizaru is feeding Luffy because he want to stay in marine. He Can just pretend that he can't fight and let Luffy beat Saturn. That's the best outcome for him.
