Just add to this too, Film Red added a real demon or demon king even into the OP world. I'm sure Oda has been experimenting with this possibility since Impel Down at least if not before. Oda has mentioned the Sea Devil too during Foxys arc or w/e and the SHs have been called demons multiple times in the story, with Robin getting a new unexplained Demon Form and Choppers Monster form could be seen as Demonic as well. Zoro is definitely demon-like too ofc and Sanji has referred to himself as one IIRC and associated him with Hell and the Devil too.
Imu might be the sea devil for all we know, Umi, Umibozo too or w/e.
Also Oda showcased a potentially "real demon" in an arc where said demon used a satanic circle and the Gorosei had something similar in their room at Mary Geoise and we have Kizaru who uses light and could be associated with or use "Holy Light" potentially and thus maybe Crusaders, he might betray Saturn and thus have our "Holy Light Warrior" vs a literal Demon? Purify the darkness/evil with holy light or w/e? Holy cleansing? Im probably spouting nonsense as usual though lol.

The manga explained Law became a warlord only to get to Caesar (to the Smile factory) as a part of the plan to defeat Doffy, not for protection. If he wanted protection he would've lied to Fujitora in Dressrosa that Luffy is working under him and kept the warlord title. In fact that lie would've made things much easier for Law back there. But he has his pride too.
