He just suppressed his soul.

Sukuna was using megumi's soul for Makora adaptation in the gojo fight. And Megumi feelings are making sukuna depressed too now lol.

He ain't ded. He's the inside agent now.

He incarnated using Megumi's body
And if Megumi was considered dead an announcment would have been made
Sukuna is still considered as Megumi Fushiguro by Kogane
