elbaf will be the final island before laughtale
there law, blackbeard, buggy, shanks, luffy will all be there
i expect elbaf to last 2,5 years
after elbaf, we are going to laugh tale. here luffy will become pirate king and find the reason to fight the world government
final war will take place between pirate king luffy and imu, in order to make luffy’s dream come true - 3 years

one piece is not gonna end before 2030

the main thing is that i disagree with most people

most people seem to believe will keep going for another 7~10 years

if Elbaf is 50~70 chapters, that means 2.5 years on that arc

let's say Egghead ends this year

this means we would be in 2027 by the time the war even starts

and the war would be like what? another two years? people say it has to be the biggest arc in One Piece and shit

if that was the case, One Piece is not ending before 2030

Hey, people can wish as much as they want for One Piece to never end, i get it

but honestly, i think it won't take that long
One Piece was supposed to end this year, since Oda said back in summer 2019 that the series should finish within the 5 next years.
The true is that One Piece will take the time it needs to take. If Oda planned for straw hats to go to Elbaf, they will. If he never did and it was just a red herring then they won’t. He might cut corners (like Wano ending) but he won’t outright rush the final saga of his magnum opus

?

Imu is the final villain lol. You still betting on BBP or something?

WB literally said that the final war will start after someone finds the one piece.
Imu is the final villain, but the world government as it is isn’t lasting till the end.

Whitebeard said that the world will be turned on its head. Imu will be the final villain, but Cross Guild will be the final villains. The underworld becoming the new leaders of the world will literally be the world turning on its head.

Elbaf will be the final arc of the world government imo. They’ll be defeated during it.
Don’t think World Gov will get destroyed if it doesn’t happen at Marejois

too much secrets Oda has left there

I wonder though if that will be end of fighting marines. Oda could do Akainu going to Elbaf and essentially being Surtur and causing Ragnarok

Oda repeatedly said Wano was 2 years too long

Still can’t see it ending before 2028 though tbh

Cause even this arc he wasted 10 chapters on York and Vegapunk satellites that haven’t done anything

Aye I agree man, we get like 35 chapters a year I think, maybe 37 max. I think Naruto final war was 4 years at least? Im expecting the final OP war to be that long at least which is daunting, especially factoring in Odas breaks....dear god....but then again Oda doesnt like to draw fights beyond 1 chapter long generally, so maybe you might be right about 2 years for the final war? 3 ideally?

Ive been hoping OP is finally gonna end soon but theres so much Oda keeps introducing to pad the story out, it feels like its never gonna end or its gonna be a rollercoaster, rushed ending like Bleach.

I hope you're right anyway man, I suspect it will end in 2030 at worst but Im praying it could end by 2028 at the worst somehow lol.

I honestly dont know why Oda needed to make the Gorosei super powerful apparently along with adding these holy knights, garling and such, it feels like its caused and is causing far more problems than they should and also dragging out the story far more.

IIRC Oda or his editor said by the time Wano ended, we would be much closer to knowing what the OP is. Given we waited like 15 years or more or even 26 depending how you look at it or w/e to find out what devil fruits are aand how they came to be and we still dont have a definitive answer still, it makes me wonder how much else is gonna be unsatisfyingly "resolved" or more like not actually resolved by the end of the series.

I dont know why Oda couldnt just make CP0 and the Admirals the main forces of the WG, making them the true endgame antagonists along with Shanks and Blackbeard but idk, maybe Oda has got this all figured out, especially with his first month break he took off before the final saga and we just have to wait and see if he's really got this all sorted out or he's just gonna Buggy his way to the end, wing it like crazy and we just have to accept whatever we get.

I expected OP to end by 2026/7 at the worst but idk anymore now. Trying to think about the current state of the story just gives me a headache lol.
We got 32 chapters in 2023 lol

and Oda has been consistentely making less chapters per year

I’m gonna go out on a limb and something happens that makes the world government or marines crumble at the end of this arc
Imo, Kizaru (and/or Saturn) losing will make Akainu split the Marines from the WG and try to seize power himself

I still personally think a larger fight between him and the Yonko will happen. They all seem to fall in the same category of power at this point and Im not exactly sure where you are meant to escalate after this if its not Akainu, Blackbeard and Shanks.

From 4chan
That the chapter title was Growth in reference to Kizaru saying they would test their growth and Sanji and Kizaru begin fighting we see Zoro unleash a new attack against Lucci which was more in line with the one in Wano looked like a COC attack? Not too sure. Lucci remarks that he can't believe a commander is besting him. We see Franky and Saturn continue to interact in the chapter. Supposedly Caribou captures Luffy and goes to a location
