During the flashback a massive emphasis was put on Saturn and by extension the CD( but more Saturn) being the whole reason about Kuma and Bonney suffering. You also have an emphasis about Kuma’s father telling him about Nika then Kuma telling this to Bonney then them doing the Nina dance. 2 + 2.

If Luffy is not suppose to beat Saturn this arc to « free » Bonney why even bring Saturn there. Just let Kizaru handle this alone.
