The issue is Kaido was mostly fucking around for most of the fight whereas Shanks went in directly for the kill, he was bloodlusted and serious from jumpstart.

Its a difference in personalities, not power.

And Wifi diff does zero damage, I mean for me seeing Shanks having greater haki mastery then his peers is a given. Its the only thing he has to compensate and be competitive with them.

if his haki mastery wasnt at the top he wouldnt be as competitive. its not a bonus . its a necessity

Yeah its pretty obvious that guy with no freak of nature genes or stats and 1 arm would have greater haki then the other 3 to compensate.
