If zoro was gonna have another fight this arc, Oda wouldn't have fucking stretched the Lucci fight so fucking damn much. It would have been over before Luffy vs Kizaru round 1.

To be fair, if Kuma and Bonney can free themselves thanks to Luffy, and literally becoming/using Nika, is even better.

Luffy will always have the big slaver himself, the root of all the evil, Imu, so having his lackey too is not that mandatory.
In fact, that could do justice to Kuma and Bonney more while Luffy close the circle started in Sabaody (even though, I do not think it will be a conclusive fight).

Luffy is the one who will defeat Saturn.

That would've led to luffy AND zoro vs Kizaru. And that would have turned the tables very very fast.
Just like oda used fujitora to keep zoro from trashing doffy, he uses Lucci to keep him from the scene.
