Luffy's character was always Goofy, and that goofiness and funniness was what made One Piece good. Nothing wrong with Oda bringing that back in under a new power. I'd much rather Goofy Piece then Edgelord Piece. Plenty of Edgelords mangas and manwhwas for that. Pre TS One Piece humour hit like nothing else.

Well You BETTER take that into account unless you have other arcs to put Law,Blackbeard,Shanks,Kid, Garp and Aokiji in… Egghead is the arc those events happened in my friend. You did not read any of those arcs and enjoy them more than Wano and Egghead why are you lying? Remove expectation and take the arc as it is Egghead and Wano CLEAR POST TIME SKIP. It’s not even close……..

How is luffy suppose to save VP when he already get stab .
Him laughing or not he can't change shit .
He will fight saturn or kizaru or who ever else to protect them but that not going turn back the clock that VP already get stab .

I been here long enough to know that not what some of them mean .
I get some don't like the laughing aspect but even without luffy laughing there nothing he can do beside try and protect them now.

Almost all shonen MCs can be considered goofy, this doesn't mean complete lack of tension, garbage looking fights and laughing like a retard in the midst of chaos, and suddenly turning into the Messiah of the verse when he was supposed to be a boy who turned a seemingly weak power into something actually strong
