Honestly, based on what we know of Kaido, it’s probably more likely that Kaido always wanted a son and refused to acknowledge that he had a daughter or something like that, or just called her his son because he wanted a boy instead.

And not minutes after I type this does it come out that Kaido beat the hell out of her for wanting to be like Oden. He’s not a good dude. Definitely calls her his son because it was his preference or something.

Nah. That's make him the most loyal in the crew. He believe in Luffy 100% unlike Sanji who choose to hurt Luffy because he didn't belive in Luffy's strength. Zoro didn't even try any named attack to cut the cage. Grandmaster Zoro once said, u do your job, when u can't, I'll do the rest. He don't want to take on Luffy's fight. It was Luffy's job to make destroy doffy and his cage. He proved his word after he bloodlustly want to take on Fujitora after Luffy failed.

He literally took 2 named moves from Zoro and combined them in 1 attack and was still more impressive
