Lololol I'm not arguing that Brazil can do it, it can't. Mexico and Brazil are places that need a millennia of purging crime and growth before those countries can even consider that. But the US absolutely could.

Dumb argument, firearms account for the most common murder weapon obviously and it's considerably harder to murder in a different way. Even if you reduce the murder rate by 10%, you'd still be successful.

This is 2019, but you get the gist. If you round up the firearms, you get over 70%.

Asking "Why" creates a legal loophole to randomly deny gun acess to people that need it. We have such laws in Brazil.

You are the one that is drifting. Its the civillian population that is the number 1 victim of violent crime. How the F. do they have no use for a gun? The right of self defense is a human right,to exercise such right you need propers tools. There is no way to take away guns from criminals. Criminals don't buy guns in stores,they don't do background checks,shootings tests or anything legal for that matter. Gun control only keeps civillians defenseless.

The connection guns=violence is not really a thing. I used to be very anti gun before I did my research. There's a lot of bias among Europeans and not nearly enough education on the topic

Mass shootings are overblown. Only a couple of those have happened. There are NOT thousand of cases of mass shootings in the US. The big killer is gang violence.
