2-3 years ago in this forum i remember Admirals were respected and equated with Yonkos. Even those who said Yonko>Admiral would say that the Admirals were only slightly behind. But now, many people in the forum are opens the Admiral downplay threads, thrash talking about Admirals. Admirals began to be seen as not a top tier, even seen as weaker than Yonko Commanders.

Why has the number of these trolls increased? Are they trying to take it out their pain with downplaying Admirals when Yonko Saga is trashly written?

Aside from the amount of trolling that is done to them, you need to understand that it's a highly agenda-driven narrative and a victim of recency bias just as much as the emperors. Combine that with the lack of awakening or specific powers shown on-screen and you will see people rip on them unfortunately.

That’s just the way it is throughout the entire fanbase. Ironically, Worstgen is better than most when it comes to that topic.

I’d blame poor reading comprehension for the downplaying aspect, but that alone doesn’t really explain the level of hatred some people have. I haven’t seen the like in any other series.
The desire for the Admirals to be weak is just an extension of that inexplicable hatred.

People worship the old gen regardless of Marine or pirate.

Garp, Sengoku, Roger and Whitebeard all have/had CoC. And most people consider all 4 of these guys on par or stronger than Kaido. At worst. Sengoku is relative


Guess who has CoC? Shanks and the yonko.

It’s a last hurrah. The yonko vs admiral argument has been going on since marine ford, and this arc is giving us the conclusion of it.

If luffy an emperor barely beats Kizaru using all his power, then that means not only are admirals comparable, but Kuzan and Sakazuki who are portrayed above Kizaru are stronger than some emperors like Luffy.

As an Admiral fan I'm sure it must seem like that they're just haters when everyone laughs at your nonsensical Admiral wank, but no, there aren't many Admiral haters, the manga has just got to the point where the Admiral = Yonko agenda is dead and buried with most people agreeing that Yonko > Admiral, and thus, a good chunk of the Admiral wankers like yourself have ran away unable to cope with the fact that they've been completely wrong for years, with only the truly deluded ones like Lee remaining.
