lol when has Oda ever said it? Zolo beat a YC1 first time in Wano and Luffy did that after beating Cracker in WCI. Zolo never beat a sichibukai. So how can u be so deluded to even think that?

Giving Van Augur, a top class sniper and a great tactician, a teleportation Fruit is just unfair. Usopp is going to have to unlock top tier CoO to deal with this guy.

BTW, on a completely unrelated note, I've been thinking of how Cross Guild could get to Pluton without going through Caribou, now that it's confirmed Caribou is a Blackbeard fanatic. What powerful/influential people in the world have been connected to Wano in the plot, and connected to Ancient Weapons, who could lead Cross Guild to Pluton?
In Oden's flashback, the Higurashi Kurozumi transformed into a few people in front of Orochi... one of them was Shiki, the Golden Lion, who wanted Roger to join forces with him to claim... an Ancient Weapon. I've long noted that Shiki's Fruit would allow him to easily bypass Wano's borders with a floating fleet of ships.
If Cross Guild moves on Pluton, it will be through Shiki joining them, IMO, which would REALLY make Cross Guild a Yonkou crew.

Imo I want to read the chapter cause I’m not convinced “that person” was Blackbeard. I feel like he’s doing as Caribou does and just cushions up to the closest big name that can get him the fuck away from the fight.
Remember there’s two other individuals who can likely end up with cross guild currently stuck in Blackbeards prison; Gecko Moriah and Perona.
