Where Saturn’s giant spider form we’ve seen so far has high AP but is easy to hit and bad in combat.

Whereas the new form is likely slimmer and more suited for hand to hand.

Wake up brother, it's pretty clear what this is about and it's not about Zoro.

I have no interest in robot introduced few chapters and will likely be forgotten after this arc. Zoro has been important character and vice captain of crew that would be surpassing rayleigh. Zoro is going to be present in next arc too. Why waste the opportunity now to increase his importance to story by making him fight important character rather than Luffu's leftovers.

Some people think that old ancient rust bucket (lets not forget the modern new version was 1 shotted by Lizaru) will make it a "2v2" the cope is hilarious, in either case we'll still have multiple panels and possibly chapters of Luffy 1v2ing Kizaru and Saturn whilst his heart drums and powers up the robot, its not out of the realm of possibility that it'll only show up in the end, possibly to deliver Luffy off the island, after he takes on fights off both Kizaru and Saturn, and probably straight up bodying Saturn

It seems to me that after Oda started trying to please some of the desires of the fans, at some point he missed the thread, got lost. And now, with all his desire to catch the old vibe and bring the story back to its intended course, he can no longer do it. An overly tangled thread is easier to reverse than to untangle. I just don't feel like Oda enjoys what he's doing himself. It's like he's asking himself, "Would the old me like it?" and he gives himself answers based not on real emotions, but on emotions that he is trying to remember.
