Kizaru is done, I've always pointed out that the admirals were mediocre and had no honor in combat, and Marineford made that clear. Kuzan didn't care about winning against a distracted Jozu; they're not interested in proving their "superiority," but only in winning regardless of how they do it. In Marineford, Kizaru literally received help from a vice admiral and attacked Marco from behind, showing no concern about winning like that. Although he didn't defeat Marco, this is a characteristic of those who lack Haoshoku Haki.
Kuzan had to team up with hundreds of allies and dozens of commanders to take on Garp. Green Bull basically did the same with Weevil, not caring about King and Queen being severely injured of the war in Wano.
Meanwhile, Shanks asked if Kid and Killer had fully recovered from the battle in Wano. The fact that Kaido dislikes help or having his 1v1 duels interrupted is widely known and treated as such, even the Gorosei know it's an impossible task, the same for a CP-0 agent (one of the best agents).
