Idk, Luffy himself begged for food so I find it difficult to think he begged and then resolved his problem on his own the second after without even an explanation about it and with Sauturn asking explicitly who gave him the food.

Because after Kuma punched Saturn (after the food scene), Kizaru said something like "now it's all over", more or less giving up on saving the situation imho.

At the beginning it could be accept that Kizaru was the main fight but now it seems like the "main fight" is very stretched-out and thin, at best you could say that the big bads of this arc are the gorosei, since after saturn began to internally seethe by the looks of his face makes him take no damage.
