Looks like they’re going through Hakumai, judging by the leaves.

The red scabbards have similar age, Neko and Inuarashi probably are the youngest of them.
Koshiro fits to the age of Denjiro, Kyoshiro in otherway looks for me more like a 30years age old men with don´t would fit the the age of Denjiro(probably 50-56).

@Pantheos theory isn´t bad, it make sense in some way. But Koshiro would come out nowhere and we see Koshiro in the past when we see the flashback of Yasuie(at least it was a dude who was look similar to the master of Zoro).

I don´t really know, i would wait for more infos.
