lol, Ouki straight up says even if he joined Duke Hyou, he wasn’t sure if they could defeat Gokei

But sure, the Fire Dragons aren’t Qin 6 level @SakazOuki @Bullet
But Tou thinks 4k commanders can defeat the other fire dragons
Thanks for playing yourself
Keep bringing up Goeki like there is a single person here who disagrees with him being Qin6 level
Might as well Use Tou to hype Doukin and other Ouki vassals while you're at it

Let's not give Gokei's feats and portrayal to the other 6 :pepestop:
Why not exactly? Where has it been stated that he was a level apart from the other 7? That’s never been stated at all. Hell he even had Rei Ou teach his son and didn’t teach him himself lol.

You might say because Gokei was Shinryoukun’s vassal, but like. There were no other Wei commanders of Gokei’s caliber after the Fire Dragon War. Hara always portrayed the initial seven as equals with only Houmei being distinguished from them and even that is up for debate.

SO Sou'Ou doesn't know about Mou Bu who defeated Kanmei and is the First Qin Six General for his generation.

Answer my question lol

Ouki's statement is far more credible than Sou'Ou's.

Sou'Ou's statement is the equivalent of me saying that my friend Juan is as good as basketball as Prime Kobe
Well, The same duke who got handled easy by Houken and got almost one handed defeated by Ou Ki? Right?

The out of prime, suicidal Shi Ei lmfao

That is who Ouhon defeated lol, and even this version of Shi Ei might be too much for Renpa who can’t defeat Kyou En and who can’t stop Rinko

Gokei is Qin 6 level yes, and he is equal in ability to the other Fire Dragons. At no point in this manga has he been stated to be stronger than them, as much as your retarded ass wants that to be true

I mean he had a decade or so to grow and accumulate more experience (stats be damned)

I always thought that Gokei was on the same general level as the other 6 at the time of the civil war but grew in overall abilities instead of rotting away in jail or being dead

Then why did Earl Shi's faction beat Taroji's? Not saying there were giant gaps in-between though

And what did he do in that decade? Gokei’s entire character was about how he had been trying to retire from the battlefield but kept being drawn back in against his own will. He was like Ouki and Renpa by the point we met him, semi-retired with his goal to be living the rest of his life in the Wei Capitol lol.

So it’s not like Gokei was touring battlefields constantly and continuing to build his abilities, he literally stated that he had been trying to quit the battlefield. Again one of my favorite Kingdom moments was his β€œthis is why I can’t quit the business!!” Line. Lol

I always thought that Gokei was on the same general level as the other 6 at the time of the civil war but grew in overall abilities instead of rotting away in jail or being dead
Yeah again this just isn’t Gokei’s character. He kept trying to retire only to be reluctantly dragged back out onto the battlefield itself.

Sou'Ou knows Moubu is a big guy who uses a mace, he saw Jiaga was also a big big who uses a mace and made a quick comparison that he clearly didn't spend much thought on and shouldn't be taken seriously based off Shiryou fighting Jiaga equally lol

Well, The same duke who got handled easy by Houken and got almost one handed defeated by Ou Ki? Right?
I don't even get what you're saying. Downplaying Gokei for losing to a duel because he lost on a duel to Duke who lost to Houken is ridiculous because he's a tactician mostly

And Ouki being decisively about the Duke martially doesn't mean Gokei isn't Qin 6 level. Ouki's weakest commander Doukin would neg Koshou but that doesn't change the fact Koshou is on Ouki's level

Ji Aga was said to have Mou Bu level strength.
By Sou'ou. Are you really implying that the opinion and experience of Sou'ou is equal to that of Legendary Great General Ouki of the Qin Six?
If Duke can, imagine Ou Ki.
Duke Hyou did not beat Gokei on his own merit. He needed two solutions that he had zero control over or even awareness of (Shin+Kyoukai dealing with chariots and Ouki coincidentally coming across his battlefield while going on holiday to visit Renpa) to force Gokei off of his hill to give him the chance to close the gap between himself and Gokei. Even then, the gap was only eventually closed by additional factors outside of his control such as Heki + Shin launching an attack from the hill they could only hold due to Ouki's arrival and Gokei's stubborn personality to refuse to give ground to an invasion force.

Despite all that external assistance and outside factors, Hyou's Army was toasted to the point that it was unable to achieve the campaign objective to capture the target Wei city despite the death of Gokei. Gokei achieved his campaign objective, Hyou failed his.

Hyou, a man that was offered a position amongst the Qin Six, was hammered so badly by Gokei that he needed the author to toss actual Qin Six Ouki to save his hide. Hara had to Ouki ex Machina to let Hyou have a chance of winning.

TL;DR it took two Great Generals to defeat Fire Dragon Gokei.

If it wasn't for Ouki we would look at Duke Hyou as one of the biggest jobbers in the manga lol

Singlehandedly being the only great general Wei had left? I don't believe he just sat in the Capital whenever an enemy invaded or tried to invade Wei lol
Wars between Great Generals don’t happen every day lol, and we know Gokei was mostly by Shinryoukun’s side as he was directly a vassal of his. Couple this with his low experience stat and outwardly stated attempts to retire, and yeah there’s really not much behind the notion of him surpassing the other Fire Dragons

Again I have to stress Shi Ei is the best spear in the (known) history of Kingdom. Gokei isn’t even the best mind in the history of Wei alone
