We only got the briefest spoilers, lol. What's up with jumping to conclusions over one sentence? Back in chapter 1081, we had leakers saying Garp had the upper hand in a fight against Aokiji, only to find out in the actual chapter that he landed one move that threw him into a hole.

It's not like the admiral agenda is the only agenda that gets slandered. There were people slandering Saturn over the Bonney stab, and his reputation plummeted after the Kuma Punch, to the point people thought he would get erased by any Yonko attack.
Sentomaru got defeated the chapter after he blocked that hit, sure, but he was successfully blocking and dodging multiple hits before going down.

These characters all have their own motivations; the gorosei act so Imu doesn’t have to. They erase problematic individuals to the WG, they preserve the secret of the void century, and now Saturn mentioned his desire to kill Luffy and Kuma.

All of this culminates to them going to Elbaf. They wouldn’t just rely on the Marines to do what they’ve failed to do twice in destroying oharas knowledge and after being shown that the god valley incident was literally a war to exterminate “troublesome slaves and people” it leads to a clear possibility that they’ll host another on Elbaf.

They can just hand Imu the mother flame who intends on destroying whole islands anyway lol. All VPs message does is accelerate their intent of cleansing the world, which is exactly what theyve talked about repeatedly prior and during this arc.

I still don't understand the logic of chasing Luffy to Elbaf to accomplish this lol.

Both usopp and buggy are both constantly falling upwards. Being seen as a lot more infamous intimidating and influential than they “deserve”. At the end of the day all they want to be is really respected and feel as if they’re worthy of that respect

They have funny noses too
