LUFFY HAD TO RELY ON A FORM THAT BY DEFAULT CAUSES HIM TO PASS OUT AND BE USELESS AND THUS A DETRIMENT TO HIS CREW BECAUAS HE HAS TO RELY ON THE FORM TO GET THE VICTORY. NOW IF LUFFY DIDNT NEED G5 FOR AWAKENED LUCCI THEN WHY DID HE HAVE TO RELY ON A FORM THAT CAUSES THIS EXACT TRAVISTY? ITS BECAUSE LUFFY NEEDED TO POWER THE FORM GIVES TO DEFEAT LUCCI.

Does zoro or sanjis form equate to them being out of the picture when they use their power ups? No. They have to simply be defeated by a stronger opponent or had to be damaged prior. In luffys case he can be FRESH and healthy and would still pass out and be a detriment because of g5.
