- Luffy broke free of Parasite, how he actually achieved it is open to interpretation. However, breaking free by brute strength is more likely than "changing the shape of the body somehow breaks something that was attached to the body... that can't be broken through strength". Why would that even free Luffy? What would be the actual reason for the strings to break?
- Crocodile wasn't nerfed against Luffy, at all. He was literally the same as in the two previous encounters.
- When exactly was Luffy nerfed in Water 7?

1. Luffy didn’t break free of Parasite. He transformed cause he’s a zoan. We even see the strings don’t break till the transformation. Only reason people think Luffy overpowered it is because of anime filler on level of Hawkins calling drake the 1 percent man.

2. Croc literally was? He easily wrecked water Luffy. The only thing that changed between round 2 and 3 of alabasta was Robin betraying crocodile and making crocodiles 10 year plan a completely pointless affair. And yes Nami straight up said Luffy was nerfed in water 7 because he didn’t know what he was fighting for and that he got much stronger once he realized Robin didn’t betray him.

None of this is headcanon. It’s literally manga canon.
