So this isn’t really meant to be a 1v1 thread but more a comparison between each of them charging into Ousen’s main lines. And this thread was inspired by @MarineHQ before I get called a Bananji hater lol. MarineHQ already convinced me that Rage Mode Bananji > Shukai Gyou’Un.
Chougaryuu already assumed that base Bananji was on the level of Kaishibou and Renpa:
Once Bananji got serious, the claim was that “nobody could stop him”
Bananji was said to have exceeded Ousen’s expectations:
We get more scenes of Ousen’s elites unable to stop Bananji:
Bananji was aided by elite Zhao troops:
And ultimately Bananji makes his way directly to Ousen himself:
In Hango, Shibashou hits all the same beats as Bananji without truly getting serious yet:
Ousen continuously tries to stop Shibashou’s charge with different tactics and commanders:
And this was even while Seika was being pincered and attacked from behind by Sou Ou and Kanjou. That said, Shibashou’s charge was still faster than the armies flanking him:
We get a similar sense of Ousen needing to retreat, as his own personal elites start calling out to him to retreat:
And even as Shibashou takes glancing blows from Ousen’s elite guard, he neither gets serious nor slows down:
And of course Big Shiba makes it to Ousen:
So what do you guys think of this comparison? Who do you think is stronger between rage mode Bananji and base Shibashou? Or do you think they are on the same level?
