Tbh that’s just feat scaling in general. We’ve been told for years that Elbaf has the strongest military might in the verse and that the giants are regularly seen as the strongest race. Hell, Dory and Brogy have been called living legends a few times now.

Oda writes his manga thinking “this scene was decades ago, surely no one gives a shit about the power level back then” and focuses on just boosting portrayal without feats to match it.

I see it this way too, this is why I don't have much problem as seeing Dorry/Broggy as powerful due to their portrayal
But that's not the case for powerscalers usually, anti-feats are never forgotten

This really soured me on Wano. I already had many issues with it beforehand but I holding the hope that like most arcs the conclusion would be satisfying since Oda usually manages to wrap things up well.
Not this rushed mess we got

The ending is so funny in hindsight:
“We will bring the dawn to Wano!” (The dawn actually isn’t important)
“Nine shadow prophecy!” (Actually not important)
“One on one bet on Kaido!” (Unless you’re Joyboy who Kaido wanted to lose to for years)
“Zoro has been compared to ryuma a few times surely there’ll be a payoff!” (Sike Luffy is new ryuma)
“Oh no an admiral has come! And he’s wrecking Yamato and the scabbards!” (Actually shanks has been sitting outside Wano randomly for a bit and will fix it then leave)

Imu fight will be the final war and Zoro won't be fighting Mihawk in the final war unless he gets bodied when they meet on Laugh Tale (and the final war has to happen after they reach Laugh Tale because One Piece will be revealed on Laugh Tale and Oda said the story won't end and continue after Laugh Tale and the OP is found/Luffy becomes the PK which means that is the final war. Buggy saying he wants to go for the OP means Oda will somehow make him fall upwards and reach Laugh Tale which means Cross guild on laugh tale = mihawk on laugh tale = zoro on laugh tale in which it'll be a fight to the death between Zoro and mihawk considering his honour thing. Zoro will fight Venus in the final war
