Both villains were massive in their respective series and share a handful of similarities.
- Taking on a gauntlet of enemies
- Posing an existential threat to their worlds
- Both killed the main character(s).
Kaido, to start off with? Was nearly invincible the entire run of the manga. From the second we see him to his last moments he has an air of warmed importance and power. Outright knocking out Luffy, beating the supernova, fighting Linlin for 12 hours all before the big war part of Wano started.
This guy is brutal and definitely gets points for being a dragon. There’s not a lot scarier than his flaming bagua lol.
Madara, on the other hand, was “in” the series for hundreds of chapters before officially appearing. He’s got a lot of cred from Tobito, as everything Obito only elevated Madara knowing Obito was a cheap knock off. Then when we finally see him? Appearing to take on an army of Shinobi, dropping meteors on them, resisting Edo Tensei’s cancellation & destroying the Gokage…
Then that doesn’t even factor in when he’s fully revived. He takes on Naruto, Tobirama, Sasuke, Gaara and all the Bijuu. This man was absolutely insane.
