I really don't understand the constant glazing of Riboku. Ye we get it he is special but did we really need a whole new arc about it wheres characters we actually care about did jack shit?

Arc isn’t over yet lol. Shibashou could still be pursuing Ousen for all we know, especially with the comment about “Shibashou knows how important it is to kill Ousen”. Which means we could still get Shibashou vs Ouhon or Shibashou vs Shin.

If Riboku pincers Yotanwa alongside Bananji and Shunsuiju while Shibashou stays on Ousen’s ass, man. Qin really fucked up this arc lol.

Man Shin is powerfully that him was needed to get out to Riboku defeat Ousen.

Imagine Shin if him wasn't caught in a one year strategy like that.

EoS Shin will have a level of instictual warfare beyond ridiculousness.

The Duke could be extremely perceptive by simply seeing a soldiers' formation, could use his insticts as bait and could of course play "wild" moves that strategists have a hard time to understand/predict. Heck Riboku called the him a man beyond his understanding of warfare, when he saw through his formation through insticts alone. Imagine EoS Shin.

It doesn't seem like Shibashou has anything to do with that.

Someone is to defeat Ousen at EoS, this wild level of unpredictability is pretty much the only way I can see someone doing that. It will play a huge role. Either that or be an even better strategist, which will be almost impossible.

I think he'll try to recruit the new gen. I always thought Shin's chapter 1 armour looked like Ousen's in style. The redrawn panel also makes the chest plate look more like an homage to Ouki's face.

Ousen could maybe offer Shin a deal to serve under him temporarily. Maybe tutoring in battlefield tactics and grand strategy. Perhaps access to Ou family retainers.

Ousen recruiting his "perfect bait" Heki would also be funny.
