King's Calamity position was up for grabs just as much as Queen and Jacks, there was no distinction made there. Since we know the crew is ranked by power, meaning the more powerful you are the higher you rank thus the more authority you have; it's obvious that the Calamities were the strongest and all held an equal level of authority within the crew. As for the term "Futokorogatana" that was used to describe Jack; it has multiple synonymous meanings, Confidant/Right-hand are both valid translations of this word. King was without a doubt the strongest of the three and also had a closer bond with Kaido as his first right hand, but that's about it.
