And after Alabasta croc ran hands with Doflamingo Mihawk and Sakazuki. If croc was as fodder as you say he’d have looked as bad as Luffy did in Marineford, but he didn’t. He could compete while gear 2 and 3 Luffy clearly couldn’t. Also Let’s not forget how Luffy dropped Garp with one punch cause Garp didn’t have the will to fight.
This is like saying Zoros never going to be a top tier because 2 years ago he got one shot by Buggy the clown.
Pre ts Luffy also was able to survive three admirals and dodge Mihawk multiple times. It’s called plot.

I don't underestimate sanji. In fact I am the one that accurately gauges his level.
When many was stating that sanji would be haki specialists I literally told people that once he got the raid suit that that was not direction he was going in.
My thought process was even more solidified when we found out that his siblings were scientific experiments.
Crocodile is going to be comparable to admiral greenbull. Sanji defeating a person of that caliber would be impressive

Wci Sanji before raid suit or German enhancements would around the level koby currently is at. With his germa enhancements he should be faster and more durable though koby still has him beat in DC and AP.
The problem is that koby grows fast by alot. As a result his ceiling eos is far above sanjis.
