Bait title!
Bait aside, we just found out that a man born 900 years ago was called Joyboy.
That same guy is the first one who took it to the seas and is called the original pirate.
And then we have a whole race named with another word for pirate.
You got it, Buccaneers!
What are the odds that the whole race named with a different word for pirate is coming from the one called original pirate?!
Is that the grave sin of Buccaneers that makes the Gorosei offer them slavery and death as the only two choices?
It also happens that the supposed merciless Tyrant is a good-to-a-fault teddy bear.
The same guy happens to worship Nika and wishes for his return...
In short, Kuma could be a direct descendant of the Joyboy himself.
Low effort thread, just throwing it out there...
Also, Mother Flame could be Lunarian Flame as it is a recent discovery overlapping the recent breakthrough that replaced Warlords.
People already figured this out before me but I think it is worth spreading as Mother Flame burns underwater while Lunarians are also monsters capable of surviving in any natural environment and it happens that water is one of those natural environments...
