Speculations Zoro has to surpass Mihawk in Elbaf

Now that Mihawk is being hunted by the Marines, he obviously won’t be Zoro’s main fight during the final war, and it wouldn’t make sense for Zoro to fight Mihawk in Laugh Tale since the SHs will obviously be fighting the BBP there. So Zoro has to surpass Mihawk in the arc before Laugh Tale, aka Elbaf. After Elbaf, Shiryu will kill Mihawk, so Zoro and Shiryu will have to fight each other to determine who is really the WSS. Zoro will prove himself superior to Mihawk in Elbaf, along with Luffy and Usopp proving themselves superior to Shanks and Yasopp. Agree or disagree?

Mihawk vs Zoro at the final war wouldn’t make sense tho because why would Mihawk be helping the WG? Laugh Tale also doesn’t make sense since the SHs will obviously be fighting the BBP there, and why would Mihawk be at Laugh Tale? Elbaf just seems like the latest point in the story where it would be logical for Mihawk and Zoro to meet each other and fight. Also, another reason why Mihawk vs Zoro post-Laugh Tale makes no sense is that is makes no sense for Zoro to achieve his dream after Luffy.

In the scenario I described, Zoro could beat Mihawk, and then after Zoro beats Mihawk, Shiryu also beats him (probably through slimy means) and then kills him. The world wouldn’t know who is the better swordsman since both beat Mihawk, so they will have to fight each other

I mean there's an argument to be made that beating a YC1 would surpass Mihawk in a sense, as that W would be unrivaled.

The longer Mihawk stays alive and undefeated, the stronger he will appear by the time he really does get a legit fight. Zoro will never be so strong as to win with anything but an extreme diff, what will seem like a miracle, if they do fight. But sorry, I'm pretty interested in seeing him derailed. I like him, but he's a little too kind-hearted to make it imo.
